Funeral Service

The funeral service teach-out program for Mount Ida College students at CCCC is approved by the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE), 992 Mantua Pike, Suite 108, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097, (816) 233-3747, www.abfse.org, until September 1, 2020. Students graduating from this program have earned a credential that is accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education.

Cape Cod Community College (CCCC) has received Teach Out Authority from the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education (DHE) for Mount Ida College Funeral Service students through September 1, 2022. CCCC has submitted application to New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) for establishing an additional instructional location on the campus of Bridgewater State University. A separate application will be submitted to DHE for CCCC to accept new students into the program. Until then, the program is pending DHE approval and ABSFE accreditation. The College is not accepting new students.
