Campus Safety Disclosure

In accordance with the Student Right to Know Act (Title 1 of Public Law 101-542), the Campus Safety Report is available online at Campus Security Reports or upon request from the Department of College Police and Public Safety.

Criminal Offender Record Information and Sex Offender Registry Information Checks

In order for a student to be eligible to participate in an academic, community or clinical program that involves potential unsupervised contact with children, the disabled, or the elderly, the student may be required to undergo a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check and/ or a Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) check.

Information Technology Resources Use Policy

Access to 4Cs' computer systems and networks imposes certain responsibilities and obligations. Users are granted use of information technology resources subject to College policies, and local, state and federal laws. Use of 4Cs' information technology resources constitutes acceptance of the terms of the Information Technology Resources Use Policy and any other applicable College policies, rules and procedures.

Student Code of Conduct

The Student Code of Conduct can be found in the Student Handbook online. The Student Code of Conduct Officer is the Dean of Learning Resources and Student Success, located in Maureen M. Wilkens Hall, Room 216A and can be reached at 774.330.4345.

Student Handbook

The 4Cs Student Handbook provides access to information about services and resources for students as well as College policies and procedures. The policies contained in this handbook provide you with a general understanding of your rights and responsibilities as a member of the 4Cs community, as well as of the departments, services, facilities, and other resources at 4Cs. You will find information about college resources, student services, clubs and organizations, safety information and more.

Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence/Policy Concerning Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment of a student, an employee or any other person in the College is unlawful, unacceptable, impermissible and intolerable.

Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination. It occurs in a variety of situations that share a common element: the inappropriate introduction of sexual activities or comments into the work or learning environment. Often, sexual harassment involves relationships of unequal power and contains elements of coercion as when compliance with requests for sexual favors becomes a criterion for granting work, study or grading benefits. However, sexual harassment may also involve relationships among equals, as when repeated sexual advances or demeaning verbal behaviors have a harmful effect on a person’s ability to study or work in the academic setting.

Student Right to Know Disclosure: Transfer and Graduation Rates

The Student Right to Know Act and Campus Security Act (Public Law 101-542) mandates that all institutions participating in Title IV or HEA programs disclose to current and prospective students four-year average graduation and transfer-out rates. Visit Student Right to Know for the current rates.

Zero Tolerance Statement
