Our Admissions Policy
Cape Cod Community College has an "open door" admissions policy where each applicant is accepted to the College, on a rolling, first-come basis if the applicant meets the eligibility requirements, has completed the application procedures, and a vacancy exists in the applicant's elected program of study.
Note: This "open door" policy does not apply to the College's selective health programs, which have selective requirements.
Eligibility Requirements for Admission
To be eligible for admission, an applicant must have graduated from an approved high school or received a state-issued high school equivalency certificate (HiSET/GED), prior to enrollment. Applicants who have not graduated or earned a HiSET/GED should contact the Admissions Office to discuss their options.

Not seeking a degree?
If you do not intend to receive a degree or a certificate, you are welcome to take classes at Cape Cod Community College. You do not need to apply for admission.
Non-degree seeking students can meet with advisors in the Advising and Counseling Center to help select the appropriate courses. Then, students can register for their desired courses at the Registration Office.
You may also take non-credit classes through The Center for Corporate and Professional Education.
Note: Financial aid is not available to any student who has not applied for admission and enrolled in a degree or a certificate program.
